Refund Policy
This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds may be requested for paid AI Data Foundry subscriptions. By completing a purchase, you agree to the terms below.
1. Refund eligibility
You may request a refund within 7 days of your initial purchase. The refund amount is calculated based on your service usage during this period:
- Full refund — Granted when no credits have been consumed and no paid features have been used since the purchase.
- Partial refund — When credits have been partially used, the refund amount is calculated against the unused portion of the credits granted by the purchase. The used portion is not refundable.
This section is based on Article 17 of the Republic of Korea's Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce.
2. Non-refundable charges
The following are not eligible for refund:
- Subscriptions or purchases more than 7 days old at the time of request.
- Recurring renewal charges. Renewal dates are visible in your billing settings; cancel before the next renewal to avoid being charged.
- Charges originating from accounts that have violated our Terms of Service.
3. Subscription cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing settings page. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not issue a refund for the current billing period. Your subscription stays active, and any remaining credits remain usable, until the end of the current period.
4. How to request a refund
Eligible refunds can be requested directly from the Payment History page in your account.
If the refund option is not available for a purchase you believe is eligible, or if you run into any problem during the refund process, contact us at support@synapfoundry.ai. Including the email address associated with your account and the order ID from your receipt will help us assist you more quickly.
When a refund is requested, the unused credits from that purchase are forfeited immediately, and for subscription refunds the subscription is terminated at the same time. The refunded amount is returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer or bank.
5. Payments and billing
Payments for AI Data Foundry are processed by Paddle.com.
Paddle.com acts as the Merchant of Record for purchases made through our checkout system. This means Paddle handles payment processing, billing, VAT/sales tax handling, and related refund transactions. Charges may appear on your card statement or receipt under the name Paddle or Paddle.com.
